It would be virtually impossible for me to describe myself to you.
There are a plethora of adjectives I could use…descriptions which could give you an insight into little parts of me but never the whole picture. "Fiesty" is a word my husband uses a lot,
"determined" is what my mother likes to call me. My kids border along the lines of telling me I am the "greatest ever" to how incredibly "mean" I am for not letting them eat ice cream for dinner... I personally like to think that I
am a NINJA.
I am a Wife of an uncoopertive photo subject, so I understand that the most difficult person in photoshoots is usually the husband...to which I always recommend a shot of whiskey prior to said photoshoot.
I am a Mama of three tiny humans so I know the importance of getting that ONE shot just perfect when you have kids...although the secret really is the imperfect moments create the best pictures.
I am obsessed with true crime podcasts and I am fully suspicious of everyone I meet...I am also the proud one woman crime watcher on my street...trust me when I say no conspicuous vehicle gets past me.
And finally....as crazy, nuerotic and on top of things I think I may be in my real life-photography is the place for me to be relaxed and have fun and be creative and enjoy my craft...and that is exactly what I hope my clients...who almost always become my friends...feel at the end of their shoots.
I am a firm believer in capturing moments on camera which require little to no fanfare, minimal props, minimal glamour, minimal production.
You would be amazed at the beauty caught on camera with a cozy sweater, cup of coffee and freckles as your only props.
Be as messy and wild as possible...the wild things always take the best photos.
