This Queen right here….she walked onto the photo session like lightning. Every single person at the North Carolina Museum of Art was in awe of her. She had this incredible glow about her but it wasn’t from just joy and happiness…there is something about a woman who gets to the point in life where her fucks are only given for herself…where nothing and no one is allowed to dim her light, or cloud her judgment. I know this because this Gemini Queen and I were celebrating the same birthday just weeks apart and we had an unspoken understanding between us during her shoot. This session was for no one and nothing but her. For her to stand in that majestic gown of hers and own the space she occupied and to dazzle.

The most dangerous woman is the one who knows who she is and unapologetically demands that which she deserves….and this Queen…in all her glory, in all the stories you can see behind her eyes…she is at the top of that list of the dangerous and powerful and beautiful.

And even though this blog is entirely too late – I still wish her the happiest of birthdays…and I cannot wait to see what she does for her next birthday shoot.
