I’ve  been so lucky to have a consistent client whom I’ve been fortunate enough to take photos of for all of her milestones. Kinsey did her maternity shots, newborn and family photos with me for her little crew of four. So when her stepdad contacted me for a big family shoot for the fall/winter I was definitely up for it 🙂 I have to say it was a cold day…i’m personally not built for the winter weather out here (whats sad is that the REAL winter still hasn’t hit NC, but thats for another conversation). Anyways, armed with my starbucks hot peppermint mocha and my camera…not to mention a cable scarf covering my ears and face from the chill, i headed out to Lake Johnson, NC (a fan favorite photo shoot location) and prepared to convince four adults and two toddlers to ‘smile and look warm and cozy’ for the camera. bless their hearts, they were all in for the challenge~

can we take a moment and discuss how gorgeous GRANDMA GIGI is..yes ladies and gentlemen, she’s a GRANDMOTHER and she is a-mazing.

despite the chilly weather, runny noses and pregnant photographer attempting to do crazy shots….we managed to capture some beautiful moments.
